As per government guidelines, the entire month was made a celebration of 75th Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
Objective
This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Details of the Program
The Aazadi ka amrit mahotsav was celebrated here in Vidhyadeep university, Physiotherapy department with various activities throughout the week to give tribute to the nation based on the theme ‘Triranga’.

On the first week, an essay competition was organized. The topic of essay was “The History Of Indian Flag”. Many students from the physiotherapy department took part with great enthusiasm.

On the second week, an event to felicitate and honor the contribution of women to the society was organized. We invited many women who are doing very great job for society and are the great examples of the women empowerment. We started our program with flag hosting by our guests followed by felicitation of the guests for their noble work and some cultural events like, speech, drama, dance, etc. were performed by our students to honor the women.

On fourth week, an elocution competition on the topic: “Importance of Aazadi ka amrit mahotsav ” was organized to make students aware about the Aazadi ka amrit mahotsav. Many students took part with great enthusiasm and delivered great speeches.
Rally to promote
"HAR GHAR TIRANGA"
Har ghar tiranga is a campaign under the aegis of Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist is to make the 75th year of India’s independence.
We, the department of Physiotherapy, organised a rally in Sayan town to make people encourage to bring tiranga on 10th August, 2022. Students together with staff took part in the rally with great enthusiasm.
